FLY YMM Promo Animation

I was contracted by Wood Buffalo Media to create an animated segment for this ad for the YMM Airport. I was contracted by a friend who filmed the live action segments and planned the overall ad. I just created the part where it shows a flight leaving Fort McMurray going to Vancouver and then showing the locations you could fly from there. This was the first time I ever had to create a map animation, but it was pretty fun, all done in Adobe After Effects. The finishing touch was the last logo reveal of the Airport logo with the YMM pop-in was asked of me because the original one said the entire name 'Fort McMurray International Airport' and they wanted it simplified.

This will be played at the airport on their massive screens or on youtube as a local ad so if you happen to see it please let me know cause I would love to see it.
